Steelheads comeback and win in shootout 4-3

The Idaho Steelheads defeated the Trois-Rivières Lions by a final score of 4-3 in the shootout. The Lions took a 1-0 lead in the first period thanks to Joel Teasdale’s third goal of the season at 13:58 on the power-play. Then at 18:33 Jacob Dion made it 2-0 with a shorthanded goal from Morgan Adams-Mosian. But Idaho would get back within one as Aidan Hreschuk scored his first pro goal from Nick Canade and Chris Dodero. Then Trois-Riveres made it 3-1 off a goal from Tyler Hylland late in the second. The Steelheads drew back within one off a goal from Ty Pelton-Byce from Jaden Shields and Matt Anderson. Idaho tied the score at three at 14:55 as Angus MacDonell scored his 4th goal of the season from Sam Jardine and Brendan Hoffmann. As overtime could not decide a winner the game went into a shootout and Kaleb Pearson scored the shootout winner.
