The Idaho Steelheads defeated the Rapid City Rush on Saturday by a final score of 7-1. Francesco Arcuri got the scoring started with his first of the game from Liam Malmquist and Charlie Dodero. Ty Pelton-Byce made it 2-0 as Liam Malmquist intercepted a pass in the high slot and fed it down low to Pelton-Byce. Francesco Arcuri made it 3-0 with his second of the night from Malmquist and Brendan Hoffmann. Then just 36 seconds into the second stanza Idaho forward Nick Portz made it 4-0 from Chris Dodero. Dodero then made it 5-0 on the power-play with his first goal of the season. Kaleb Pearson would extend the lead to 6-0 shortly later from Pelton-Byce and Jake Barczewski. Francesco Arcuri completed the hat-trick to make it 7-1 and finish the scoring.
