The Idaho Steelheads defeated the Trois-Rivières Lions by a score of 4-1. Idaho forward Frensesco Arcuri got the scoring started 1:04 into the contest from Jake Boltmann and Matt Anderson. Idaho would extend their lead to 2-0 at 5:21 of the as Liam Malmquist scored his first goal of the game. Malmquist would than extend the lead to 3-0 with less than 3 seconds left in the first. There were no goals in the second period. The Lions scored their lone goal 6:28 seconds into the third as Morgan Adams-Mosian scored his 5th of the season. The Steelheads would get a hat-trick from Liam Malmquist as he scored the empty-netter from Nick Portz.
