The Idaho Steelheads defeated the Wichita Thunder by a score of 3-2. Steelheads forward Brendan Hoffmann got the scoring started 3:21 into the game from Frensesco Arcuri and Jeff Baum. Wichita got on the board with a goal from Peter Bates 6:10 into the second. The Thunder would take their first lead of the game as Noah Beck scored a power- play goal at 9:32 of the second. But Idaho would score a 5-on-3 power-play goal 34 seconds into the third from Robbie Holmes. Idaho forward Francesco Arcuri scored his third point of the game (first goal) to make it 3-2.
